Shipment and returns

Shipping your parcel

The packages are usually shipped within 24/48 hours after payment is received and sent via DHL or GLS. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.

Shipping charges include postage and packing charges. Packing charges are fixed, while those of transport vary depending on the total weight of the shipment. Your parcel will be posted under your responsibility, but special attention is given to fragile items.

The boxes have a reasonable size and your items are well protected.

For shipping outside the European Community customs fees may apply.

By completing this order the customer accepts responsibility for all taxes and fees, (customs fees or similar charges).

Delivery times

We deliver worldwide by DHL express world wide and by GLS express in Italy.

It is only available on request DHL same day (urgent delivery with the first available means of transport).

Delivery times may vary due to customs controls.

Returns Policy

No returns of any type will be accepted by PLC-City if not accompanied by a unique number of RPA (Return product).

The client will request this number only with the approval of PLC-City, by contacting customer service via live chat on our website www.plc-city.com or via email at [email protected] The customer is obliged to explain the reason for the willingness and/or problem encountered, will also be required to disclose the following information to obtain RFP: customer name, invoice number applicable product serial number. Once the two parties have reached agreement to return then you can proceed with the delivery of the material by agreeing on the kind of the same with PLC-City. The address to which the customer must send the material is Dielle s.r.l. Via Circumvallazione Esterna 12, 80025, Casandrino (NA), Italy.

The customer has 14 days to return the product after it has been allowed to return. PLC-City reserves the right to refuse any unauthorized returns: those received after 14 days or those involving products that are not accompanied by a valid number of RPA.

NOTE: returns are not applicable to companies and professionals with VAT number.

Returns of defective products

The customer can return defective products. Returning once agreed upon under the terms of written must be made within the warranty period specified in our terms of warranty (on the page relating to the terms and conditions), to PLC-City, specifying whether if he want to have a replacement, repair or refund.

 

Returns of non-defective products

The customer may request the return of products not later than 15 days from the invoice date. PLC-City will review all requests case by case. If they are granted a return authorization PLC-City reserves the right to retain a share of 15 % of the purchase price for a used product and 40% for a new product. Returns for non-defective products create discomfort to our company as it might be the only piece in stock . We would find ourselves in the position of not being able to meet the demands of other customers if there are any. Also if we send a new sealed product and will be returned open it will no longer have the same market value. 

PLC-city reserves the right to refuse a return that will be delivered in our warehouses not in the same conditions.

Product Status

All products must be returned complete, as received at the time of delivery (including manufacturer's boxes, packing materials, manuals, cables and other accessories provided by PLC-City in the original shipment). PLC-City reserves the right to refuse the return of incomplete products or charge a minimum of 15% for returns that were accepted. The customer must fasten the RPA authorization number on the shipping label for each box. The customer must never write code RPA on the original manufacturer's box, otherwise the return will not be accepted.

Shipping costs

The organization and the costs of return shipment are under the responsibility of the customer.

Replacement products

In case of wrong purchase , the shipping costs for the replacement of the product are under the responsibility of the PLC-City .

Insured Shipping

The customer has the option of ensure material to cover the damage that may have occurred in transit of returns and to use a courier of his choice.

The shipping method you choose must have a tracking number in order to give the possibility to have a confirmation of the shipment. PLC-City is not liable for loss or damage during the transportation of returned products. 

 

Packaging for shipping

PLC-City is not responsible for damage that may occur in transit during the return of the product. In order to minimize the possibility of damage to products in transit, customer must place correctly the product/s, or original manufacturer's box with the product, in a shipping box with packaging material. The customer must ensure that the product is properly protected with bubbles or packing foam. The products must not be shipped without packing. The preferred method by PLC-City for the products return is to place each product into a single box. If this is not possible, the customer may enter multiple products in the same box as long as the same are protected in its antistatic bag and separated from each other with bubbles or packaging foam to prevent damage to them. The products must not be returned without an accurate protection inside the box. Crushed or damaged shipping boxes should never be used to return the products.

Products damaged in transit

If a package containing a damaged products purchased at PLC-City arrives at the customer's address, the customer should refuse delivery by the courier.

If the customer accepts delivery of such parcel, must:

(i) Make note of the damage on the bill of delivery courier so that PLC-City can lodge a complaint ;

(ii) Keep, as they were delivered, the products, the original box and packing material received;

(iii) Promptly notify PLC-City by contacting customer service via email to [email protected] to arrange an inspection of the courier and the removal of damaged products.

If the customer does not note the damage and keep the products received, the original box, packing and does not notify to PLC-City within 5 days of acceptance of delivery, the products will be deemed accepted and intact and there will be a regular contractual right of withdrawal by PLC-City.
