Description

Soft starter for three-phase motor control

This soft starter is used to manage the start and stop of a three-phase motor with a controlled ramp instead of direct switching. It is intended for pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors and industrial machines where reducing mechanical stress and controlling the starting current are important for the process.

Ramp control and bypass

rated current 45 A; voltage data 400 VAC; bypass function. The soft starter is selected according to motor current, operating voltage and the required starting duty. Versions with integrated bypass relay reduce losses after the acceleration phase, while versions prepared for external bypass are integrated with a separate bypass path in the panel. Heavy-duty versions are used where the starting cycle requires higher starting current capability.

Panel integration and service

During installation, compare auxiliary supply, operating voltage, motor current and bypass arrangement with the wiring diagram. The command circuit, fault signalling and any remote keypad or software interface should be kept aligned with the machine sequence. After commissioning, record ramp settings and protection logic so later maintenance can identify the motor feeder without ambiguity.

A well documented soft starter installation improves troubleshooting because the technician can distinguish power path, bypass path, auxiliary supply and command interface. This is especially important when several soft starters are grouped in the same automation panel.

During replacement, compare the current rating, auxiliary supply, operating voltage and bypass concept before disconnecting the installed unit. If the starter uses a remote keypad, NFC version or software interface, keep the same control access in the machine documentation. This preserves parameter traceability and avoids mixing power wiring with the low-voltage command circuit.
