Shipping: methods, times and costs
Every day we ship hundreds of orders using eco-friendly recyclable materials in total respect of nature. We ship from Italy and deliver all over the world using various fast, traceable and safe shipping services.
The shipping cost can be calculated on each product page by clicking on "See all shipping services" and entering the delivery country. The shipping cost for multiple products can be calculated on the Checkout page by specifying the country in the delivery address.
The shipping cost includes:
•Ecological Plastic Free Packaging and Handling;
The shipping cost does not include:
•Insurance (available on request, 10.35 EUR or 1.03 % on the value of the goods if greater);
•Customs charges (if applicable, they will be applied by the custom office of destination and anticipated by the courier who requests the payment of custom duties before or at the time of delivery);
•Supplement for delivery in remote area;
•Goods Supplement requiring special procedures such as:
-Dangerous Goods (Full Dangerous);
-Dangerous Goods (Consumer Goods ID8000);
-Supplement for Lithium Batteries: Lithium Batteries Section I, II (PI965, PI966, PI969);
-Supplement for address correction;
At the moment of order, you can choose between these shipping services:
DHL Express Worldwide
Express air shipment service with delivery to 220 countries by 18:00 the following day within Europe, 2-5 days for the rest of the world.
Shipping service for less urgent and heavy shipments with delivery within Europe in 7 days.
Express air shipment service with delivery to 220 countries by 12:00 the next day in Europe and in 2 days for the rest of the world.
UPS Express Saver
Express air shipment service with delivery to 220 countries by 18:00 the following day in Europe.
Collect your order at our warehouse in Naples in Italy, either personally or through your own courier. You will receive a notification by email or phone when your order is ready for collection.
Products available in stock are shipped within 1 to 2 working days after receipt of payment. Products not available in stock will be ordered from the manufacturer (Backorder) and then shipped as soon as they arrive at our warehouse.
Delivery times depend on the location of the delivery address, the shipping service chosen and customs procedures.

When the order is shipped, the customer will receive an email containing the tracking code link from which they can follow the progress of the shipment.
DAMAGED AND LOST PACKAGES
Once the package has been collected by the selected courier, PLC-CITY is not responsible for damage or loss that may occur to the package and its contents during transport (e.g. lost or damaged package, missing contents, damaged contents, etc.) Only the courier is responsible with limitations depending on the type of shipment.
INTERNATIONAL AIR EXPRESS SHIPMENTS
Courier’s liability is limited by the Montreal Convention or the Warsaw Convention as applicable, or in the absence of such Convention, to the lower of (i) the current market or declared value, or (ii) 19 Special Drawing Rights per kilogram (approximately $US 26.00 per kilogram), up to a maximum of $US 100 (approximately € 80).
CROSS BORDER SHIPMENTS TRASPORTED BY ROAD
Courier’s liability is or shall be deemed to be limited by the Convention for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR) to the lower of (i) current market value or declared value, or (ii) 8.33 Special Drawing Rights per kilogram (approximately $US 14.00 per kilogram) up to a maximum of $100 (approximately € 80).
DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS (ITALY)
Courier’s liability is or shall be deemed to be limited to an amount of €1 per kilogram up to a maximum of € 30 according to italian law (decreto legislativo n.286 del 21.11.2005).
It is necessary that the shipment has been insured according to the insurance methods indicated by the selected courier. Otherwise, it will be refunded according to the rules indicated in the international conventions indicated above.
Shipping insurance is an optional service provided by DHL or UPS to protect shipments. The customer can choose to insure their shipment on our Checkout page in the Shipping Options section. The cost of this service is 1.03% on the value of the products excluding taxes (minimum EUR 10.35). The insurance service is then provided by a carrier selected in the DHL Terms and Conditions or the UPS Terms and Conditions.
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF PACKAGE IRREGULARITIES
In case of irregularities in the package (openings, crushing, PLC-CITY adhesive tape removed or replaced, damp stains or wet parts), the customer can refuse or accept the delivery with reservation.
Images of any damage must be sent to [email protected] and our Customer Care will take care of the report and make the complaint to the courier.
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF LOSS
In the event of loss of the package by the courier, the customer must promptly notify the email address [email protected].
Our Customer Care will manage the complaint with the courier concerned and, at the end of the procedure,the customer will be refunded according to the estimates made by the courier.
PLC-CITY takes on the role of intermediary between the customer and the courier; therefore, the processing times of the complaint and receipt of the refund depend exclusively on the courier.
Products not available in our warehouse are managed on backorder (order to the manufacturer) and on the product page it is specified as:Available to order; Typically ships within X days**
On the checkout page, if the product is not available, it is indicated with the text Backorder and in the order confirmation the products on backorder are listed with the estimated shipping times.
Backorder times depend on the manufacturer and the product ordered, as the product ordered could be:
Available from the manufacturer's warehouse
Not available in stock of the manufacturer who will manufacture it
Product not managed in stock, manufactured only to order.
The number of days in which the backorder product will be shipped is indicative and may be subject to delays that do not depend on PLC-CITY but on the manufacturer.
The number of days is to be understood as working days.
**The number of days specified is the standard delivery time from the manufacturer to PLC-CITY and may be longer due to manufacturer delays.
For some products, such as license software in the download version, delivery will take place via e-mail and shipping is not foreseen.
Downloadable products are ordered from the manufacturer and then backordered as an unavailable product.
Depending on the manufacturer, delivery will take place directly from the manufacturer or from PLC-CITY via email.
*The number of days is intended as working days.
