KCCS - KERT Battery charge-discharge controller

Auto-ranging 12/24 V, 10/16 A battery charge/discharge control module for DIN-rail mounting. Input data: 12/24 VDC, auto-ranging. Output data: 12 VDC, 16 A or 24 VDC, 10 A, 240 W. Equipped with 3 status LEDs indicating power supply input voltage present, load powered by the battery, and load supply output voltage present. A potential-free contact is provided as standard for status and alarm signalling. Charging capacity: 1 A DC. Compatible with sealed AGM lead-acid batteries up to 24 Ah. The module is equipped with an internal fuse for battery protection. Dimensions: 4 DIN modules. Operation: the KCCS is connected to the output of the power supply and to the battery, creating a DC UPS system. When mains power is available, the power supply feeds the KCCS, which in turn powers the load and recharges the battery. The KCCS protects the battery against deep charging and discharging cycles. In the event of a mains failure, the battery powers the KCCS, which supplies the load with a transfer time of 0 ms, ensuring uninterrupted and correct operation.
